Awarded to an in-house lawyer working within a purpose-led organisation who has demonstrated outstanding excellence in delivering legal services, leadership, and meaningful impact in advancing their organisation’s mission.
FOR-PURPOSE LAWYER OF THE YEAR
Award Criteria
Criteria 1
Demonstrated excellence in the provision of legal services and/or the effective management of legal resources within a purpose-led organisation.
Criteria 2
Evidence of leadership, influence, or direction in legal practice or law-related management within their organisation.
Criteria 3
Significant contribution to advancing the mission, impact, or effectiveness of their organisation, including through innovation, collaboration, or resourcefulness.
Criteria 4
Demonstrated ability to adapt, build expertise, or lead across new or complex areas of law, or recognised thought leadership within their sector.
All criteria are weighted equally by the judging panel, so please ensure you address each of the four criteria, using a maximum of 200 words per criteria.
